Newsletter Pro Version 19 - Release Notes
WARNING: Before continuing with this upgrade, please make sure of the following: 1) That NO messages are currently sending, and 2) That NO messages are currently scheduled to send. If you upgrade while a message is sending or scheduled to be sent, it could corrupt the message, the sending process, and any related statistics.
- Bounce-Back Management: This version of Newsletter Pro has a new, advanced system that captures delivery failures (bounce-backs) for messages you send and reports them to you. This enables you to make sure your lists are reaching the most people without having a high failure rate. No action is required on your part to get this setup (it is done automatically). We encourage you to look through and manage any delivery failures you receive after you send your next message.
- Purchasing Postage is Easier: Previously, purchasing more postage (eStamps) was a long, drawn-out and often confusing process—but not anymore. No more "long keys" or confirmation emails to worry about. Simply click on "Buy ePostage" from the Newsletter Pro Menu, select the number of stamps you want with the arrows, and click "Purchase ePostage from Bondware." After you finish the checkout process, instead of waiting for an email with your postage key, simply go back to your Postage Page and click on "Apply Purchased ePostage." It's that easy!
- New Sending Process: We have also overhauled the sending process in this version of Newsletter Pro. Now, instead of one ambiguous page for all of your messages, you will find a step-by-step process that walks you through creating, previewing, testing and sending new messages. Just click on "Messages" from the Newsletter Pro Menu then on "Create a Message."
- No More "Jobs": Newsletter Pro no longer has a sense of "Jobs". Everything is handled from the Messages page. To send a message to another list (after sending/scheduling for a first list), you click the same button (the green, round arrow) to create a new copy of the message to send to the other list.
- Improved Statistics: Now your message history and statistics can all be accessed from one page—the Messages page. This makes statistics easier to get to and understand. The statistics page now has graphical charts to summarize message performance, too!
