Bondware Web Solution's Anti-SPAM Policy

Bondware has zero tolerance for the sending of spam and unsolicited mail, and we prohibit the use of third-party, purchased, rented, or harvested mailing lists. Any customer found using Bondware to send such mail will forfeit any advance payments and be banned from the use of our service.

If you've received unsolicited mail from one of our users/customers, please notify us immediately at support@bondware.com or abuse@bondware.com. Every complaint is investigated, and you will receive a response from our abuse team detailing the action we're taking to deal with the issue.

Bondware takes several steps to keep abuse to a minimum. Among other things, we

  1. Interview new clients about both the origins of their mailing lists and their marketing practices. Clients who do not meet our standards are not allowed to use the Bondware Email Marketing service.
  2. Periodically check uploaded mailing list for addresses that appear suspicious or that otherwise indicate that the mailing list is potentially third party in nature. If we see anything suspicious, the customer will be contacted immediately and the account may be disabled.
  3. Read most sent emails from our customers and scan them for suspicious behavior and inappropriate messages. If we have any concerns, the mailing is stopped and we contact the client.
  4. Immediately open an investigation if a client receives an abuse complaint to our abuse address or through one of our feedback mechanisms.

If you suspect a client of abusing our service (or have any questions regarding our policies), please do not hesitate to contact us at support@bondware.com. As noted above, all complaints are investigated, and you will receive a response detailing the action we're taking to deal with the issue. Bondware Customer Agreement

Bondware customers must agree to following all anti-spam legislation. 
Additionally, all Bondware customers sending email from their website or from our email marketing software must follow an OPT-IN strategy.  All emails from our software will include an OPT-OUT functionality, either to opt-out of the particular email list or the entire domain.

If you do not have specific customer approval to send emails, then we require the first email sent from our systems to be an explaination of your intentions with an option for users to OPT-IN or to OPT-OUT of the email should they choose to no longer receive the emails.  These initial emails should have little to no graphics in them and should not have advertising or other information that would distract from the intent of the email. 

Bondware makes no promise that emails sent from Newsletter Pro and/or Connect will be accepted by third party email services.  These mail services maintain their own spam regulations, and emails that are rejected based on these regulations will not be available for credit.

Newsletter Pro Suspended Mode

Newsletter Pro accounts that continue to receive spam complaints may be put into Suspended Mode. During Suspended Mode, you will still be able to login, access your site and send newsletters, but you can only send at a rate of 60 emails per hour. This suspension is in an effort to protect readers and other Newsletter Pro customers affected by spam ratings given to our servers.

The account in question will remain in Suspended Mode until you either provide adequate information detailing how your email addresses were legitimately obtained or cancel your subscription to Newsletter Pro.
